SATURDAY, APRIL 21 

International "Record Store Day" takes place the third Saturday of April each year and is a great day to visit Alleycats. We will be bringing in a great selection of special limited vinyl records from the RSD "List" and offering many sales, specials and giveaways.  (the "list" can be viewed at www.recordstoredaycanada.ca) 

This year the Global Ambassador is "Run the Jewels" and the Canadian Champion is the band "The Sheepdogs".  Both of these bands will have special vinyl releases and will be visiting stores to promote Record Store Day.  Other  bands with #rsd18 releases include:  Tom Waits, David Bowie, Neil Young, The Trews, Sufjan Stevens, Courtney Barnett, Mac De Marco, Cheech and Chong, Stompin Tom Connors, Hawkwind, Van Morrison, Pink Floyd and Sun Ra to name a few.

Alleycats Music will be carrying many of the special releases on a first come first served basis.  We will also be offering discounted sale pricing on many new and used records, CDs, posters, t-shirts, turntables.

Our live performance this year will be by Brent Jackson of "The Junction". Brent will be playing at 3:30 pm.

See you April 21st at Alleycats. We open at 9:30 am and it is best to arrive early if you hope to pick up a particular special release as supplies are limited.
