About us

Alleycats Music is a record, poster and t-shirt shop located in downtown Orillia, Ontario. We opened our doors in March 2012 in a 7 foot wide, 300 square foot store that until 1967 was an outdoor alley.  

In 2015 we connected the 'alley' with the store next door to offer more products including a large selection of vinyl, CDs, posters, books, t-shirts and collectibles. In 2018 the store was expanded to 2000 square feet to allow for an even greater selection of  products.

Alleycats Music features a PA system and stage where we host live music on special occasions.  If you are a performer who would like to share some songs please contact us by email about playing. 

We are very involved with the community sponsoring and supporting music and art events including the Mariposa Folk Festival in Concert Series, Roots North Music Festival, and Orillia Jazz Festival.

Returns / Exchanges / Cancellations

Alleycats can accept returns of products for store credit only.  This requires the original receipt and must be done within 3 weeks of original purchase.  The product must be unused / unopened and in the original packaging. Refunds related to cancelled online orders are at the store's discretion and will be less the cost of payment processing and administrative fees. 

We reserve the right to cancel in store or on-line orders if a pricing error occurs on a product label or on-line product description. 

Shipping

We ship to Canada only. Shipping is calculated at check-out according to package size and shipping weight.  You will receive an email with tracking information once your package ships out (typically next day).

Very occasionally, shipping fees may need to be re-calculated and an additional fee charged to cover the cost of shipping to remote areas.
